latest company case about ORCL Medical:Design and Development of a New Type of Phimosis Dilatation Retractor

Overview

Phimosis is a common condition among children, and timely and appropriate treatment is crucial for their reproductive health. ORCL Medical is committed to providing innovative medical solutions to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. We have designed a new type of phimosis dilatation retractor for children, aiming to address phimosis in a safer and more effective manner.

Product Background

Although traditional circumcision is widely adopted, it has many drawbacks, including postoperative bleeding, infection, pain, and noticeable scars on the surgical incision. Additionally, there is widespread controversy globally regarding the timing and choice of treatment options. In response to market demands, ORCL Medical has developed a new retractor to reduce surgical risks and provide superior treatment outcomes.

Product Introduction

Our new phimosis dilatation retractor features a unique design that gently dilates the foreskin in multiple directions and angles, effectively treating phimosis. This product has obtained national patent protection and has shown significant therapeutic effects in clinical applications.

Product Functions

  • Broad Treatment Scope: It is used for the treatment of phimosis in children and adults caused by an overly tight preputial orifice, adhesion between the foreskin and the glans penis, and foreskin scars. It can also be used for open drainage during periods of balanoposthitis.
  • Non-surgical Intervention for Correction: For non-surgical early intervention and correction of tight preputial orifice and phimosis in children aged 3-12.

Product Advantages

Compared to other treatment methods on the market, ORCL Medical's phimosis dilatation retractor has the following advantages:

  • No General Anesthesia Required: Reduces the risks associated with treatment for pediatric patients.
  • Easy to Operate: Simple to use, reducing the difficulty of the procedure.
  • Cost-effective: Offers a higher cost-performance ratio compared to traditional surgery.
  • Significant Therapeutic Effects: Achieves the purpose of dilating phimosis through gentle and sustained expansion.

Materials and Methods

Product Development Background

ORCL Medical, after in-depth research into the limitations of existing phimosis treatment methods, decided to develop a new type of phimosis dilatation retractor for children. Our goal was to create a medical device that could reduce surgical risks, decrease pain, and provide better treatment outcomes.

Product Design

Our product design team worked closely with medical experts to create a sophisticated phimosis dilatation retractor. The product can be expanded in 2-4 directions according to the degree of phimosis, as shown in Figure 1. We manufacture using high-quality materials to ensure the durability and safety of the product.

Product Testing and Validation

To verify the safety and effectiveness of our new phimosis dilatation retractor, we collaborated with hospitals to conduct clinical tests on 87 children aged 3 to 11. These children had various conditions of phimosis, including glans blisters and smegma accumulation.

Usage Method

We provide medical professionals with detailed usage instructions to ensure the correct use of the product. The specific steps are as follows:

  • Place the child in a supine position and disinfect the preputial orifice with iodine.
  • Apply a small amount of lidocaine cream to the disinfected preputial orifice to reduce discomfort during expansion.
  • Gently retract the foreskin with one hand while holding the retractor with the other.
  • Close the two working ends of the retractor in opposite directions and insert it into the preputial orifice until the tips extend beyond the narrow part of the preputial orifice.
  • Ensure the retractor is in place and will not fall off, then adjust the direction and force of expansion as needed.
  • Children should wear the retractor for 1 to 2 hours a day for 7 to 14 days. We recommend performing the expansion during bathing to facilitate the release of adhesion between the foreskin and the glans.

Clinical Results

Our clinical test results show that children using ORCL Medical's phimosis dilatation retractor were able to fully expose the glans after treatment, with a significantly reduced incidence of complications. This result confirms the effectiveness and safety of our product.

Conclusion

ORCL Medical's new phimosis dilatation retractor, with its innovative design and significant therapeutic effects, provides a new option for the treatment of phimosis. We believe that the promotion of this retractor will bring good news to more children with phimosis.

Outlook

ORCL Medical will continue to commit to the research and development of medical products to provide safer and more effective treatment plans. We look forward to working with partners in the medical community to improve the quality of life for patients.
